CHEESE PIE
6-8 cups of milk
1 cup of flour
1/2 cup of butter
800 – 1000 gr. of feta
5-6 eggs
400 gr. ready-made pastry
Heat the milk and butter together in a pan. Add the flour, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. When the béchamel sauce is thick enough, take the pan off the heat and add the crumbled feta and the whipped eggs. Stir well and put the mixture into a buttered baking tin or pyrex dish, which you have lined with half of the buttered pastry sheets, placed one by one. Cover the filling with the remaining buttered sheets. Score the pie with a knife and cook it in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for 45-60 minutes until the top browns slightly. Serve hot.
TIP: If you want, you can use other cheeses with the feta, or even instead of the feta. But take care that you use 800 – 1000 gr of cheese in total.
